Access Manager: Submitting your CSR to a Certificate Authority (CA) for certification

Now that you have downloaded your CSR from Access Manager you will want to submit this to your Certificate Authority (CA) of your choice so that they can create a Signed Certificate from it.

For best results the server certificate should be issued by a Certification Authority that is trusted by the browser such as, VeriSign, Thawte, GeoTrust, GoDaddy, or Comodo.

During the submission process you may be asked which type of server generated the CSR, if so specify Apache/ModSSL. If you are prompted to specify the certificate format you would prefer specify PEM format, Base64 encoded.

Once the CA has generated your certificate they will notify you of where you can access the files.
