LogonBox VPN - Release date: 22/10/2026
Introduction
LogonBox is pleased to announce the immediate availability of LogonBox VPN 2.4.19.
This release includes EC cipher support and email connection pooling.
The changelog at the bottom lists all new features and bugs fixed.
EC cipher support
You can now upload and deploy Elliptic Curve Cryptography (such as secp256r1 and secp384r1) SSL certificates alongside traditional RSA keys.
This improves cryptographic efficiency, lowers latency during connection establishment, and aligns with modern security best practices.
Email connection pooling
Added support for SMTP connection pooling when sending outbound emails.
Reusing active connections significantly reduces latency and lowers server resource consumption during high-volume email delivery such as profile reminders.
Upgrade Instructions
You can directly upgrade from the web UI or the operating system.
To upgrade from the web UI, log on to your admin account, navigate to Server Status from the main dashboard, and click Update. If you have Updates, Features & Licensing->Update Prompt turned on, you may also be prompted automatically upon login.
To upgrade from the operating system:

If you are still running a version before 2.3, you will need to perform some extra steps from the OS, as detailed here:
